Transportation Web Award Goes to Overland and Alta 10.16.08
Portland, OR-10/16/08- Leading west coast interactive and branding firm, the Overland Agency, has been recognized by the international W3 Awards ( www.w3award.com ) with a Silver Website award for Alta Planning and Design ( www.altaplanning.com ), under the Transportation sector. This marks the 7th award won by the Overland Agency this year. Other recent awards for the agency include platinum, silver, and gold awards in such competitions as the Interactive Media Awards, Webby Awards, and WebAwards for such work as consumer and B2B websites, online demos, and a documentary film.

Alta Planning and Design, which specializes in designing pedestrian and bike trails, needed an effective online way to showcase their capabilities to clients and the public. Overland created a colorful, search-optimized website with a Flash-powered introduction, complete with examples of real-world projects, including trails, greenways, urban design, and landscape architecture.
