Client: Test Systems Strategies, Inc. (TSSI) is the world's largest provider of design-to-test software, primarily servicing product design engineers and procurement specialists who
require the technology for integrated device manufacturers. TSSI provides superior Linux-based software tools, product support, and seamless customer feedback—which
cumulatively speeds design and testing, increases productivity and time to market, and reduces costs.
Challenge: TSSI has developed a reputation for quality, productivity, and competition by equipping their testing teams with best-in-class solutions. As such, their new website had to show design engineers that TSSI understood the complexity of their jobs and provides solid test tools based on the newest technologies. Once onsite, design engineers needed to quickly grasp TSSI’s value: faster, easier, more cost-efficient testing using the most effective, proven methods. The Overland Agency needed to distill this messaging into concise communications using the latest innovations in user-interface design, web navigation, search marketing, and back-end functionality.
Solution: Incorporating a .NET 2.0 framework (written in C# and ASP.NET technologies), AJAX, and ActionScript, Overland built a stylish Flash piece that speaks pointedly to
TSSI’s varied customer base. The site also incorporates an individual customer extranet, providing engineers access to account-specific product news and allowing them to post
updates for the user community. New customers or prospects can educate themselves about the latest industry innovations, with tools to contact TSSI sales, download
whitepapers and technology documents, purchase new software and upgrades, and register for webinars and trade shows. The hosted Content Management System allows
quick edits by nontechnical staff.
Result: Overland designed and developed an industry-leading website for TSSI—one that clearly and powerfully articulates their brand promise, and dominates the online realm among competitive design-to-test and conversion and validation providers. Through relevant organic search and strategic design, traffic and the visitor-to-conversion ratio
have increased. The site generates more leads for its product categories, and enables visibility to product success with an interactive platform for customer and sales
feedback. TSSI’s brand and products are now much more clearly and strategically positioned in the marketplace, thereby strengthening their brand equity.
