2nd Year of Double Internet Advertising Competition Wins
Awards make a total 6 Web Marketing Association wins since 2006

Portland, OR—Mar. 26, 2007—The Overland Agency, a leading West Coast branding and interactive advertising agency, has again been honored with two Best Website awards in the annual Internet Advertising Competition (www.advertisingcompetition.org/iac/). Created by the prestigious Web Marketing Association, the Internet Advertising Competition honors the best work in online advertising. Entries were evaluated using six criteria: creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium.

Overland’s website for Soloflex (/soloflex), which features an inventive integration of video and animation, won “Best General Interest Microsite/Landing Page.” Established in the ‘70s, Soloflex broke marketing ground in the ‘80s by innovating the infomercial. Overland’s intent was to interactively innovate their marketspace for the 21st century, introducing Soloflex’s home fitness to a new generation. In recent months, the Soloflex site also won an international WebAward for Best Sports Site and an International Davey Award.

Overland’s website for Ater Wynne LLP law firm (www.aterwynne.com) won “Best Legal Microsite/Landing Page.” The website serves Ater Wynne’s innovative clients and the business community by providing access to in-depth legal information and background on the firm, its attorneys, and their expertise. The site also won a 2006 Interactive Media Award, alongside big-budget campaigns for McDonald’s, Dreamworks SKG, BMW, Sony, Calvin Klein, and Tropicana.
