Overland Agency Wins 3rd Communicator Award 8.8.08
Portland, OR-8/8/08- Leading west coast interactive and branding firm, the Overland Agency, has been recognized by the international Communicator Awards ( www.communicatorawards.com ) with a silver award of distinction under the health and wellness category, for the Welch Allyn Flash video demonstration. This marks the third Communicator award won by the Overland Agency this year. Other recent awards for the Overland Agency include platinum, silver, and gold awards in such competitions as the Interactive Media Awards, Webby Awards, and W3 Awards for a variety of interactive work ranging from websites, other Flash-based demos, and a documentary film.
Welch Allyn, a global manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment, needed a compelling demonstration to showcase the features of their new wireless application. Overland created a dynamic demo that illustrates the Welch Allyn software’s time and cost savings abilities and which helps ensure better patient care. The Flash piece includes everything from technical specifications to instructions for implementing the platform into one’s workflow, and serves as an effective sales tool.
