Overland Agency Debuts Corporate Sustainability Documentary
Film explores how business leaders are reducing toxic chemical use

Portland, OR—Apr. 4, 2007—The Overland Agency, a globally award-winning branding and interactive advertising agency, has just debuted the documentary Nontoxic Business: New Insights for Greening the Supply Chain. The 15-minute documentary features 11 experts—including the world’s two leading green chemists—discussing how visionary corporations like Delta Airlines and General Motors are embracing safer chemical practices that benefit people, the environment, and corporate bottom lines. Interview subjects cite North American companies such as Dell Computers, Weyerhaeuser, and Wal-Mart that have integrated sustainability into their operations. Experts also include the executive director of a $22 billion sustainable-practices investment fund, one of the country’s leading experts on chemical “body burden,” journalists, and business executives.

Inspired by a desire to improve workplace safety, Dolphin CEO Mark Wysong hired Overland to produce a film that communicates the importance of corporate stewardship in toxic chemical usage in industry. In the documentary, Wysong, a longtime chemical consultant to global Fortune 500 companies and author of The Nontoxic CEO, also points to companies achieving significant savings in the process of using less toxic chemicals.
