Portland, OR—Dec. 13, 2006—The Overland Agency, a thriving branding and interactive advertising agency, announces its newest staff addition, Senior Project Manager Maia Engel.

In this position, Engel will be responsible for guiding creative, technical, and account teams through project schedules, planning workflow, managing project scope, and maintaining project documentation. She will also contribute to process improvements.

Prior to joining Overland, Engel was Senior Interactive Producer at ID Branding. She also worked in interactive project management at companies such as IKON and Intel. Engel’s highly technical background—including several years as a software engineer for Microsoft’s MSNBC and Snowpoint Information Systems—gives her unique insight into backend development, making her the ideal project manager for Overland’s complex website development projects.

In the last four months, Overland has created several new agency roles and promoted existing staff, growing by nearly 50%.
