Overland Agency Announces New Biz Dev Director
Portland, OR—Oct. 11, 2006—The Overland Agency, a flourishing Portland-based branding and interactive advertising firm, announces the hire of Jeffrey Bialy as Director of Business Development. He is the seventh professional to join Overland since August.

In this position, Bialy will oversee daily operations relating to developing a scaleable business development model, formulating strategy, conducting market and technology research, and opening new markets.

Prior to joining Overland, Bialy spent several years in China, starting as a lecturer at Hunan Business College before working as an education and immigration consultant. He returned to the United States in August. Bialy earned an M.A. in Linguistics at the University of Surrey in England and a B.A. in English and Philosophy at Skidmore College in New York. He also studied at the Institute of European Studies in Vienna.

In the last two months, Overland has hired seven new employees and promoted two existing staff members.
