Case Study: Online Channel Partner Strategies

Dynamic PHP/Linux website
Custom designed content management system

Client:
Audio Precision's products are the world’s leading systems in Audio Test and Measurement. Their clients include all major brands in consumer electronics. Through their channel partners, they sell products in 35 countries to engineers dealing with complex issues.

Challenge:
Our challenge was to develop a knowledge brand strategy, build a new dynamic web presence that would generate leads, mature those leads, and strengthen the brand relationship with channel partner resellers and end customers.

Solution:
The Overland Agency built a dynamic website with regional homepages co-branded with each region’s channel partner and including “localized” content. The content management system allows each distributor to translate sections of the site and add customized information for their region, solidifying the company’s commitment to each region while removing language barriers. The project included building intranet/extranet sites that assigns and tracks leads directly to both direct sales and the global channel partners based on geographic zones.

Result:
The new online strategy has brought employees and partners closer to the core of the company and shed light on Audio Precision’s strengths and leadership for old and new customers. The brand has been redefined and strengthened through the new lead-generating website, and the business is growing rapidly. Lead generation has gone up 200% on a daily basis and 10 times as much during campaigns. Now, companies in new vertical markets approach their sales people interactively, and more sales are closed worldwide.
